New Acton Senior Center ‘a long time coming’

As Select Board member, Franny put together a committee to search for a larger space for the Senior Center. She presented the Sudbury Road location at Town Meeting in 2017 and the new leased space was approved.

Franny organized the Acton Town Hall presentation on the North South Rail Link at which Former Governor Michael Dukakis spoke. Franny has been a member of Governor Dukakis’s North South Rail Link Working Group for eight years.

Commuter Shuttle Bill Initiated by Acton Transportation Leaders Signed into Law

What started as a conversation with State Senator Jamie Eldridge in a transportation meeting in town hall, ended with the passage of the statewide Commuter Shuttle Bill, which allows municipalities more flexibility in using parking lot revenues.
